Things are about to get nasty. Janet Jackson’s legions of fans were furious after they were refused refunds for the pop singer’s postponed Unbreakable World Tour concert dates, but Us Weekly can exclusively confirm that the show will go on — next year.

“The Janet Jackson Unbreakable tour in North America will be postponed until 2017,” a rep for Live Nation exclusively tells Us Weekly. “New dates will be announced at a later time, and tickets will be honored for the rescheduled dates. Refunds are also available at the point of purchase. Stay tuned to JanetJackson.com and LiveNation.com for further info.”

On Wednesday, April 6, the iconic 49-year-old singer announced via social media that she would be postponing her tour indefinitely as she and her husband, billionaire Wissam Al Mana, start “planning” their family.

Jackson’s stunning revelation comes just one month after she canceled several dates on the European leg of her tour, which she had previously postponed in December due to surgery.

“Hey, you guys,” she began the video message Wednesday. “On August 31, as you probably know, I launched the Unbreakable World Tour. First, I just want to thank all the fans for coming out and seeing the show … We’re in the second leg of the tour, and there has actually been a sudden change. I thought it was important that you would be the first to know: My husband and I are planning our family, so I’m going to have to delay the tour.”

Ticket holders subsequently received an email from Ticketmaster, stating that until further notice, the new turn of events would be treated as a postponement and not a cancelation — and fans would therefore not be receiving refunds.

Jackson ended her brief video message with an expression of gratitude to all those involved with her tour, as well as a special thanks to fans.

“Once again, thank you to all the fans for your love — your undying love — and your loyalty,” the “My Baby” singer said. “That means so much to me. You are truly appreciated. It’s been a long journey, and you guys have been there each and every step of the way. And I really do appreciate that. Thank you so much. Insha’Allah. I will see you soon. I love you. Bye.”
