According to the report from the local police department, Evans, 23, said that Griffith, 27, pinned her "against a toilet and forcibly removed an engagement ring from her finger" after they got into an argument.

The mother of two told officers that she had been staying at a hotel and returned to the home she shares with Griffith to collect some of her belongings that she needed for school. The two began to fight and Griffith allegedly asked Evans for her engagement ring back. At that time, Evans said that she "went to the master bathroom and was sitting on the toilet when [Griffith] came [into] the bathroom and pinned her against the toilet… [and] wrestled her for the engagement ring."

Evans claimed she was left with a cut on her pinky finger from the alleged forced removal of the ring. She told police officers that once Griffith managed to snatch the ring, he took the keys to the couple's car in an attempt to leave.

Griffith gave a different account of the incident, repeatedly stating that he "never touched the victim." He told officers that Evans "got upset with him and took the engagement ring off."

Further, Griffith claimed that Evans was, in fact, the violent one in the relationship. He also told police that while he had never reported any incidents, Evans had injured him in the past. The police report states that he showed officers some scars on his back but declined to give a statement about the altercation.

Following the drama, Evans took to Instagram to share a photo from her nursing school, captioning the shot, "Just gotta stay focused and accomplish my goals."
