And there they are! Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux’s honeymoon is paradise defined. As Us Weekly reported Thursday, the newlyweds jetted off to Bora Bora the day after their hush-hush wedding ceremony at their $21 million Bel Air mansion.
The Friends alum, 46, and Theroux, 43, will be staying at the Four Seasons five-star luxury resort overlooking the stunning crystal blue waters. The estate villas feature a private pool, hot tub, dining spots, and separate entrances to each bedroom.
Aniston and Theroux aren’t alone though. Instead of a traditional honeymoon, the lovebirds are joined by a close group of friends and family for the getaway, including Courteney Cox, Johnny McDaid, Jason Bateman and his wife Amanda Anka. The trip will also coincide with Theroux’s 44th birthday on Aug. 10. Last year, the pair also celebrated Theroux’s birthday there. (Chelsea Handler attended the nuptials, but instead stayed back in L.A. to celebrate Charlize Theron’s 40th birthday Friday.)
It’s been a busy couple of days for Aniston and the soon-to-be birthday boy. As exclusively reported, the Leftovers actor celebrated his bachelor party at pal Jimmy Kimmel’s home on Monday. Aniston, meanwhile, got last-minute hair touches by her go-to guy, Chris McMillan, and planned the entire ceremony herself.
“It was done completely on the sly,” an insider told Us. “It was their closest friends and very simple and intimate.”
During the fete, the couple let loose on a dance floor, and noshed on a wedding cake that featured puppets of a bride and groom. Aniston’s close friend, Sia, also sang her smash “Chandelier” to guests, which included Emily Blunt, John Krasinski, Howard Stern, Cox, Lisa Kudrow, and Toby Maguire’s jewelry-designer wife Jennifer Meyer, who designed the couple’s wedding bands.
“There were lots of laughs as well as tears and the mood was light,” the insider added. “[It was like a] warm house party.”
