Jennifer Lawrence: Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson Are “My Angels,” “My Kittens”

Jennifer Lawrence: Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson
Jennifer Lawrence told reporters her castrates Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson were her "angels" and "kittens" at the Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part One Premiere in London.

Her pets! Jennifer Lawrence made some lovely comments about her castmates Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson at the Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 premiere in London, on Monday, Nov. 10.

The actress, 24, praised her costars and close friends Hemsworth and Hutcherson, telling reporters: “Oh my God. They are my angels. They are my kittens.”

The Oscar winner went on to joke about how she and Hutcherson even completed shooting their scenes together in the latest Hunger Games installment. “We can’t even watch the movie together,” Lawrence said. “It’s really really hard acting with your best friend, because you have to pretend to be somebody else, and they are pretending to be somebody else. And you have to keep eye contact with them and be serious. It’s really hard.”

Indeed, Hunger Games heartthrob Hemsworth credited the star with helping him break out of his shell after he and Miley Cyrus split in 2013. “For a few years I went down a path where I forgot to be in the moment,” the Aussie admitted last fall to the Associated Press. “Being around someone like Jen, who is so honest and laughs all day long, I am forced to be in the right now. I’m much happier.”

As for whether Lawrence has grown up in the last year? The laugh-happy actress joked to reporters on Monday: “I have definitely grown in age, but probably not in maturity.” She added, “It’s been great for part of the year and horrible in other bits.”

Reflecting back on her childhood, Lawrence likened fans camping out in Leicester Square to see the stars to anticipating the release of the latest Harry Potter book. “I was an insane Harry Potter fan, I mean insane,” Lawrence said. “I would line up at midnight — the night before.”

There was only one singer she camped out for too in Lawrence’s lifetime. “I did the same for Britney Spears,” she confessed at the premiere. “Hey, I grew up in the ’90s. they rocked my boat.”
