Jenny McCarthy made the most of the Super Bowl blackout Sunday, Feb. 3. Rather than waiting around and watching the commentary for the 34-minute game delay, McCarthy, 40, went out and got some new ink!

"Got a new tattoo during half time blackout," she tweeted with a photo of the new flower tattoo on the top of her foot. "So excited to be wearing heels on The Today Show this morning. Ouch." She also admitted, "Hurts a bit today."

The Jenny McCarthy Show star showed off the ink job while visiting Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb on Monday to promote her new late night talk show.

"Cramps on press tour. Doing Kathie lee and Hoda next," she tweeted. "Hoping they have a heating pad and whisky. Wait . . . of course they will have whisky."

But McCarthy was in good spirits during her interview, and excited to talk about her new show. "It's been a long time in the making. I've been waiting on this job," the single mother to son Evan, 10, said. "I haven't found one that fit me best in Hollywood . . . Finally I realized that where I can be my most authentic self is in late night because I am a little bit of a dirty bird sometimes."
