Less than nine months after she officially came out at the Golden Globes in January 2013, Jodie Foster has quietly stepped out with rumored girlfriend Alexandra Hedison — for brunch!

The Panic Room actress, 50, confirmed one of Hollywood's oldest rumors while accepting the Cecil B. DeMille Award for lifetime achievement at the Golden Globes. At the time she admitted to being single, but thanked her longterm partner, Cydney Bernard, and fellow mom to her two sons Charles and Kit, 15 and 12.

Bernard and Foster were together for 20 years and ended their relationship in 2008. E! News first reported that Jodie had moved on with photographer Alexandra Hedison in late September.

Though notoriously private about her personal life, Foster was spotted out with her rumored new love interest at brunch on Oct. 6 at the Hollywood eatery Charlie's Pantry. Though the brunch was casual, Foster and Hedison seemed close and intimate. with Foster even caught eating food off her rumored love's plate.

Hedison was previously linked to Ellen DeGeneres. The two dated for four years before announcing their split in 2004.

"When I said 'I love Alex, and I'm happier than I've ever been,' all those things were true, and I still love her and care tremendously for her," comedienne and talk show host DeGeneres, 55, told The Advocate after their split in 2004. DeGeneres herself came out in April 1997 on the cover of Time as well as an episode of her sitcom The Ellen Show.

Foster and Hedison have yet to officially announce their relationship, but it's unlikely the guarded actress will release any kind of statement.

In her memorable Golden Globes speech she touched on how celebrities are practically required to announce their sexuality in a public forum.

"I already did my coming out about a thousand years ago back in the Stone Age, in those very quaint days when a fragile young girl would open up to trusted friends and family and co-workers and then gradually, proudly to everyone who knew her, to everyone she actually met," she said. "But now I’m told, apparently, that every celebrity is expected to honor the details of their private life with a press conference, a fragrance and a prime-time reality show."
