Justin Bieber is opening up — and stripping down — in his new music video. The “What Do U Mean?” hitmaker, 21, released his latest track, “I’ll Show You,” on Monday, Nov. 2, and in the scenic music video, he strips down to just his tighty-whities as he braves icy-looking water.
“My life is a movie / And everyone’s watching / So let’s get to the good part / And pass all the nonsense,” Bieber sings in the Skrillex collaboration. “Don’t forget that I’m human / Don’t forget that I’m real.”
The emotional song is accompanied by a gorgeously shot music video of Bieber running through a lush green landscape in Iceland. After tumbling down hills and skateboarding on top of an abandoned train, the “Boyfriend” crooner ditches his clothes and braves ice water in just his Calvins.
The singer has been struggling to deal with the pressures of fame as of late. While promoting his upcoming album, Purpose, Bieber walked out of an awkward radio interview last week and then walked off stage during a TV performance the next day, after getting frustrated with fans.
“Sadly it’s been a rough week for me,” he later apologized via Instagram. “I don’t always handle things the right way but I’m human and I’m working on getting better at responding not reacting.”
