Teen heartthrob Justin Bieber was born March 1, 1994, in Stratford, Ontario. Discovered on YouTube, the then-12-year-old singer was introduced to Usher, who immediately helped him land a record deal with Island Def Jam.

The babyfaced singer’s debut single, “One Time,” was an international success, as was his EP, My World. As Bieber Fever took the world by storm, he released his studio debut album, My World 2.0, which debuted at the top of the Billboard charts. The album featured collaborations with Ludacris and Sean Kingston.

The young star – who acted as a spokesman for Proactiv skin care products – is also known for being a ladies’ man. He has been romantically linked to Sofie Richie and Hailey Baldwin. He dated Selena Gomez from 2010 to 2013.

Bieber has released a total of four studio albums, and his latest, Purpose, was the fourth best-selling album of 2015. His single “What Do You Mean?” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and other singles from the album, including “Love Yourself” and “Sorry,” also saw success.

The singer has had a slew of legal issues in the past several years. In January 2014, Bieber was arrested for driving under the influence in Miami. Later that same year in July, he was also arrested in California for vandalism.

After rekindling his on-off relationship with Gomez in November 2017, they split again in March 2018. Bieber then reconnected Baldwin. A month later, the duo got engaged in July 2018. They secretly tied the knot at a New York City courthouse in September 2018.
