The couple tied the knot in September 2018 at a New York City courthouse and held a second, more traditional ceremony with friends and family in South Carolina a year later. Two years before tying the knot privately, the "One Less Lonely Girl" crooner predicted that he might have found The One. "What if Hailey ends up being the girl I'm gonna marry, right? The couple may not have sparked a flame until 2015, but they were introduced way back in 2009 — by the model’s father, actor Stephen Baldwin. Following news of their relationship, a Vine video resurfaced that showed the two meeting for the first time. With a hair flip and handshake, Baldwin made her mark on Bieber’s heart.

During one date in late June, Baldwin and Bieber enjoyed a relaxing spa date followed by dinner at New York City’s Cipriani restaurant. Following dinner they headed for a drink at The Bowery Hotel and as they were leaving the two “were very touchy-feely and were hugging,” an onlooker told Us at the time.

Five days before Bieber popped the question, the couple encountered a slight road bump while in the Hamptons. they were cruising through Montauk, New York, when the singer’s Mercedes broke down, but they were able to shake it off. “The two ended up smiling and laughing about it after knowing they were safe … They looked happy and together. The car was eventually towed,” an eyewitness told Us of the incident.

However, after multiple reports, Baldwin debunked the speculation in a tweet later that day.  “I understand where the speculation is coming from,” she tweeted. “But I’m not married yet!”

It's official! The couple finally confirmed to fans that they are married during a date in Los Angeles. "I asked them if they were married and they simultaneously said yes!" Nona Melkoni, who dined next to the pair at Joan’s on Third in Studio City on October 16, told Us. An insider added that Bieber is "totally infatuated" with Baldwin, who registered the trademark "Hailey Bieber" for the motive of a clothing line.

Days after attending Justin’s L.A. concert, Hailey was admitted to a Palm Springs area hospital on March 10 after experiencing “stroke like symptoms.” The model opened up about her health scare two days later via her Instagram Stories.

“They found I had suffered a very small blood clot in my brain, which caused a small lack of oxygen, but my body had passed on its own and I recovered completely within a few hours,” she explained, assuring her followers that she was “doing well” after returning home.

A source told Us on March 14 that Hailey is “feeling great and going about her life again” after consulting with medical professionals. Justin, on the other hand, has been “worried sick” about his wife as he feels “very out of control over the situation,” per the insider. "I remember when I first got married, I hit a little bit of an emotional breakdown because I thought marriage was going to fix all my problems and it didn't," Justin told Apple Music's Ebro Darden, reflecting on the challenges he faced early on in his marriage to Hailey. "It just kind of was a reflection of like, 'Man, you're a bit of a hypocrite, man.'"

And that's just a result of trauma and life circumstances. ... Just the idea that I'm forgiven and that He’s walking me through this journey and day by day, I get to just get better and better and not be too hard on myself."

Justin announced on June 10 that he was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which left half of his face paralyzed.

"It is from this virus that attacks the nerve in my ear and my facial nerves and has caused my face to have paralysis,” the singer explained via Instagram. “As you can see this eye is not blinking. I can’t smile on this side of my face. This nostril will not move. I’m just physically, not capable of doing them. This is pretty serious as you can see. I wish this wasn’t the case. But obviously, my body is telling me I need to slow down.”

Hailey, for her part, shared her support several hours later. “I love u baby,” she captioned an Instagram Story message.

Amid Justin's return to tour, Hailey told Harper's Bazaar that she was still head over heels in love. “He’s still the person that I wanna be rushing back to,” she told the magazine. “I might fly somewhere and go do a job, but I can’t wait to come back and hang out.
