Hailey Bieber enjoyed a solo night out at the 2026 Met Gala sans husband Justin Bieber.
The model, 29, strutted her stuff on the red carpet during the Monday, May 4, event at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. Her gold breastplate and blue flowing chiffon skirt expertly encapsulated the “Costume Art” theme of the evening as he channeled her inner Greek goddess. She added a flair of drama with a matching blue scarf that gave a cape effect.
She kept the look chic by wearing a simple up-do.
Hailey attended seven consecutive Met Galas between her 2015 debut and 2022. After skipping two years in a row, she later returned to the iconic fundraiser in 2025, turning heads in a Saint Laurent black tuxedo jacket and no pants.
Like his wife, Justin, 32, made his Met Gala debut in 2015. Since then, he has only attended one other time when he joined Hailey in 2021. The couple coordinated their all-black attire, with him in a La Maison Drew tuxedo and her in a floor-length Saint Laurent gown with a plunging neckline.
“I feel like the Met is always just a very cool night to celebrate fashion,” Hailey told Keke Palmer on the red carpet at the time. “We both love fashion, and we both love being able to celebrate designers.”
More recently, Justin and Hailey — who have been married since September 2018 and share son Jack, 18 months — enjoyed a rare joint public appearance at the 2026 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in April. Justin headlined back-to-back weekends, while Hailey offered in-person support at his performances.
During his first set, Justin gave Hailey and Jack a sweet shout-out by improvising the lyrics to his 2025 song “Everything Hallelujah.”
“Hailey, babe, hallelujah,” he sang. “Baby Jack, hallelujah.”
The cameras then panned to Hailey in the audience, where she blew Justin a kiss and waved at him while wearing his merch. (Social media users later made a trend out of the moment, listing things they are grateful for and adding “hallelujah” in viral posts set to the song.)
Hailey commemorated Justin’s first weekend at Coachella with a heartfelt Instagram post.
“Such a special weekend. Nobody will ever know even an ounce of what it’s taken to get here,” she gushed alongside behind-the-scenes photos of the pair and their son. “So grateful for this beautiful life. SO proud. Let’s do it all again!!!!”
Multiple sources exclusively revealed to Us Weekly in September 2025 that Hailey urged Justin to accept the Coachella gig after his hiatus from live performances.
“Hailey was a big influence on Justin’s decision to headline Coachella,” an insider close to the couple told Us at the time. “She nudged him and is always in his corner hyping him up.”
Meanwhile, a second source shared, “Hailey was definitely the driving force behind Justin doing Coachella. As someone who grew up on his music, she always reminds him that he’s the Justin Bieber. She knows firsthand how much it means to his fans to see him back on stage, so she was like, ‘You have to do this!’”
