A piece of cake! After Jenni “JWoww” Farley and Roger Mathews’ beautiful wedding ceremony on Sunday, Oct. 18, the pair wrapped up the evening by each taking home a layer of their wedding cake.
The Jersey Shore star, 29, and her new husband, 40, headed back to their hotel for a post-wedding celebration with some of their guests.
JWoww was spotted carrying the top layer of the cake, which was elegantly decorated with flowers, while Mathews carried another slightly larger layer.
The couple tied the knot in a charming ceremony in Keyport, N.J. Their 15-month-old daughter Meilani was the flower girl and the bride’s former costars Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Vinny Guadagnino, DJ Pauly D, Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola, Deena Cortese, and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro were also in attendance.
“This has been one of the greatest days of my life!” JWoww told Us Weekly exclusively. “I’m so happy to share this with our family and friends.”
At the wedding reception, the couple surprised guests by announcing that they are expecting their second child together next May. In a post on her blog, Farley called the baby news “the hardest secret to ever keep.”
“Baby No. 2 is official! We are expecting and couldn’t be more excited,” the pair told Us. “A wedding that was beyond a dream come true and baby No. 2 on the way. We couldn’t ask for more. We are on cloud nine!”
The couple, who got engaged when Mathews proposed during a skydiving trip in September 2012, have been together since 2010.
