Keeping up with the Kardashians’ animals! Kim Kardashian shared a full rundown of her family’s pets through the years on her website, from late dad Robert Kardashian’s Doberman Sarkis to Kylie Jenner’s new pup, Penny.
“My fam has had SO many pets over the years, from dogs to rabbits and even a peacock named Peter Pan, LOL,” the 35-year-old reality star wrote on Wednesday, August 3. “The funniest thing is, I’m not the biggest animal person; sure, I love cute fluffy kittens but I don’t die to constantly have a pet.”
On the other hand, Kardashian and husband Kanye West’s eldest child, 3-year-old daughter North West, is already asking her parents for a pet of her own. (The happy couple are also parents of son Saint West, 7 months.)
“North, of course, is just getting to the age where she’s starting to ask for a puppy, but I’m trying to keep her happy with her fish tank for now!” the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star wrote.
The first family pets the social media mogul revealed on her list were her late father’s Dobermans, Sarkis and Anoush. “My dad named them both with classic Armenian names,” she recounted in her blog post.
The Kardashians’ four-legged friends also included black Lab Harley, Maltese Bella, Chihuahua Dolce and the fittingly named boxer Rocky.
In 2012, the social media maven’s half sisters, Kylie and Kendall Jenner, rescued an Australian shepherd named Jackson. “[He was] a surprise for Khloé’s birthday. She was SO happy!” Kardashian captioned a photo of the sweet canine.
And as fans of KUWTK may recall, Kendall, 20, once had a Great Dane named Blu “who literally pooped everywhere,” according to the Selfish author.
As for Kylie? The 18-year-old previously had a Chihuahua named Peño and is now the mom of Italian greyhounds Bambi and Norman, a long-haired dachshund named Ernie and her newest puppy, Penny, who she received as an early 19th birthday gift from friends last month.
