Her ex is out of control!

Kelly Preston is shocked by Charlie Sheen's recent downfall.

"I worry for him," the actress, 48, told UsMagazine.com at Kirstie Alley's birthday bash at the Organic Liason store in L.A. on Wednesday. "My heart goes out to him. He's an amazing man."

Though, Preston knows all too well how crazy life can be with the out-of-control actor, 45. Briefly engaged in 1990, the romance ended after a bizarre incident in which she was shot at Sheen's home.

According to reports at the time, the actor had left a loaded, .22 calibur handgun in the pocket of his pants, which he had strewn on his bathroom floor. When Preston picked them up, the gun discharged and shrapnel hit her arm and ankle. Shortly after, she broke things off with Sheen and married John Travolta a year later.

Still, the Jerry McGuire star, who leads a quiet life with Travolta, daugther Ella Blue, 10, and one-month-old son Benjamin, has nothing but love for her former flame. "My thoughts and prayers are with him," says Preston, who has yet to reach out to Sheen directly. "He really is a good person."

She's kind to speak well of him after all these years. Other reports made it seem as if he shot her accidentally. Hope he gets help especially for those cute kids. Recently saw scenes of 2 early movies of his I loved Lucas and Platoon.

There is so much drama that revolves around the Hollywood symbol of celebrity soap operas. There is always someone who is going to far or not far enough. Constant criticism for a dress that the critics think should be hanging from a curtain rod. Too much body modification creating the common plastic look seen throughout Hollywood Blvd to not enough attention to fine liens that are magically appearing from can we say it with out cringing, "getting older"? Hollywood in the old school since used to be a beautiful kingdom of the bright and beautiful so what's happened to the city of golden globes. Tabloids are fun once in a while especially when I'm traveling for work through Dish Network but I prefer to watch the stars on TV where their dresses move and their facial features change with expressions. Without the cool brilliance of HD satellite capabilities which by the way is not possible with cable, I don't think I'd enjoy the creative as much. It's a lot more fun to see them talking about their lives than reading someone else’s rendition of their fantasy existence.

No he's not- the guy's an a$$hole-sober or not. He's always been a cocky druggie and abuser who needs to be in jail.
