Back to basics! Kim Kardashian and boyfriend Kanye West kept things casual during a stroll through Paris on Tuesday, April 2 as they took in the sights and sounds of the City of Lights.

Kardashian, who stepped out in three different maternity outfits in one day just last week, kept herself (and her growing baby bump!) amply covered up in an all-black ensemble that only showed a hint of lace.

The Kim and Kourtney Take Miami star opted for black stretch pants with a white stripe down the length of her leg in place of her usual leather-and lace skirts, and kept her arms similarly covered up in a loose black cardigan.

She topped off her look with a pair of simple, black pointy-toed pumps.

West, 35, similarly kept his look casually chic in a grey hood, black pants and an oversized black jacket.

The pair spent Saturday, March 30, racing around the city in a black porsche, a source tells Us Weekly.

"It's a really sports, powerful car, and Kim was loving it," the source said. "She might be pregnant and preparing to settle down, but she was determined to act like a sporty girl-about-town."

Two days later, the parents-to-be ditched their flashy ride for some calmer activities, shopping at Bonpoint, a French children's store on Monday, April 1.

Kardashian has been getting her share of criticism for her fashion choices in recent weeks, but the reality star said in a recent interview that she refuses to cave in to pressure from naysayers, even when times get tough.

"Kourtney warned me when you become a mom and become pregnant, there will be this whole new group of critics that will criticize me for everything you do," she said on Good Morning America on March 26. "If I wear one color clothes, I'm in this kind of mood. Or if I wear heels, they're harmful."

But the truth, she revealed in her interview, is that dressing down — and wearing flats — actually physically "hurts" her.

"You know what, they actually hurt my back," she said of why she doesn't wear flats. "I love high heels … Whatever makes me feel good, I want to wear. And I love wearing heels. I'm trying the flats, but we'll see."
