Kardashian kommencement. Kim Kardashian shared an epic throwback video from her 1994 middle school graduation on her website, giving fans a rare glimpse at her famous family years before they hit the spotlight.
In the decades-old home movie, a 13-year-old Kardashian, now 35, poses outside her school with her late father, Robert Kardashian, mom Kris Jenner, stepdad Caitlyn Jenner (then known as Bruce Jenner), sisters Khloé and Kourtney Kardashian, and a few more pals.
“This is a really special memory for me; it was the day of my middle school graduation ceremony. I was 13 years old here,” the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star wrote alongside the video Monday, August 15. “So many of our family and friends came to congratulate me. Look at my haircut, guys!!!”
Teenage Kim, who sports a bob and a white collared shirt, is adorably shy in the video (a very different side of the now-outspoken reality star) as she tells cameraman Robert: “I graduated and I’m happy.”
“It feels like my dad used to film every single moment of our lives,” the Selfish author continued on her website. “He was always there with a camcorder, whether it was my sisters’ birthday parties, a family trip to Vail or just a random day when we were all chilling at the house.”
At one point, Khloé, now 32, borrows the camera from her dad and walks around asking Kourtney, now 37, and several family friends if they have any special messages for her older sister on her graduation day.
“Would you like a cookie?” Kris’ then-husband asks Khloé, before flashing a half-eaten treat in front of the camera.
