Former reality starlet Kristin Cavallari has recently made a name for herself as a shoe designer for Chinese Laundry, but the role she seems to relish most is that of wife and mother.

The 26-year-old Laguna Beach and Hills alum married Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler in June 2013, and the couple welcomed son Camden back in August 2012. Cavallari has moved to Chicago to be with her football-playing hubby and attends most of his games.

So on Sunday, Oct. 20 when Cutler, 30, sustained a serious groin injury on the field in the Bears' game against the Washington Redskins, leaving him unable to stand upright while heading to the locker room, no one was more concerned than his doting wife.

But that's not what a Twitter follower thought when the former Hills star Instagrammed a makeup-free selfie a couple of minutes before her husband was injured.

"Husband gets seriously hurt. @KristinCav tweets about not having hair extensions," the follower wrote

And the outspoken starlet was not about to let that one slide. She quickly replied, "I tweeted that BEFORE he got hurt," and then later apologized to fans saying, "I know it seems like I only respond to haters but they drive me crazy when they have NO clue what they are talking about."

Cavallari certainly has a right to be upset. In a recent interview a local Chicago news station, WCIU, the young mother admitted it was tough to watch her husband in such a physically demanding job.

"When he gets sacked and he gets hit, it scares the crap out of me," she revealed. "He's gotten hurt the last couple seasons, and now we have a baby and that makes it that much worse."
