Now this is a birthday gift! Kylie Jenner visited kids undergoing renal dialysis at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles on Friday, Aug. 7, and according to sources, made a generous donation in honor of her upcoming 18th birthday.

An insider close to the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star tells Us Weekly that Jenner wanted to spend a day leading up to her Aug. 10 birthday giving back to kids in need. Kylie arrived with care packages for each of the kids, featuring Beats headphones, Barefoot Dreams blankets, kidney-friendly hard and gummy candies from Sugar Factory, and Arthur George socks designed by half-brother Rob Kardashian.

"Let the birthday celebrations begin! First stop: @childrensla," she captioned an Instagram photo of herself with a cartful of gift bags.

But she had something more special in store for the kids, who are undergoing grueling, daily treatments for kidney failure. After helping the group make friendship bracelets, the selfie queen presented each patient with a disposable camera to snap photos of each other.

“It was all Kylie's idea,” the insider tells Us. “She feels so lucky to be able to celebrate her birthday the way that she gets to, she wanted to give back to other people in need.”

The Kardashians are big supporters of Children's Hospital Los Angeles, and proceeds from their eBay sales all go to the hospital.

As previously reported, Kylie will also be ringing in her milestone birthday with a massive party at a beach club in Montreal, Canada, on Aug. 16.
