Keeping the bride-to-be title! Lindsay Lohan is still engaged to her Russian heir fiancé, Egor Tarabasov, despite their ongoing drama, Us Weekly can confirm.
“They are working on their relationship,” a source tells Us, “and are both committed to making it work.”
The Mean Girls actress, 30, and Tarabasov, 23, hit a rough patch in their relationship last week. On July 23, police were called to their London apartment following an argument. In a video obtained by The Sun, Lohan appeared to be screaming on their balcony that Tarabasov allegedly tried to kill her.
That same weekend, Lohan claimed that Tarabasov was cheating on her. “I guess I was the same at 23… S—ty time-it changes at 26/27 @e2505t thanks for not coming home tonight. Fame changes people,” she captioned a pic of the pair via Instagram, which has since been deleted.
In a Snapchat video, she added: “My fiancé’s being really angry at me … Honey, come home, please.”
Lohan didn’t just accuse Tarabasov of a wandering eye. In one cryptic post, she suggested that she was pregnant with her first child. (Lohan later told her dad, Michael Lohan, that she was expecting.) However, Lohan’s friend Hofit Golan said otherwise.
“Lindsay and I have known each other for years and she’s a very close friend, she’s loyal and an amazing person. It’s unfortunate that other people in her life — I’m not going to name names — are confirming she’s pregnant, which she’s not,” the socialite exclusively told Us on July 29.
“All relationships have ups and downs, and that is what is happening with Lindsay and Egor,” she added. “They are going through personal matters, but it doesn’t mean they’ve broken up for good. Lindsay just needed a pause.”
The former child star and Golan are currently vacationing in Sardinia together — without Tarabasov.
