Michael Moore Thinks Donald Trump Will Win Presidential Election: Find Out Why!

He said it! Michael Moore believes that Donald Trump will win the presidential election in November. The Flint, Michigan, native, who is best known for such left-wing documentaries as Roger and Me, Fahrenheit 911 and Bowling for Columbine, made the remark during a special edition of Real Time with Bill Maher for the Republican National Convention on Wednesday, July 20. “I’m sorry to have to be the buzzkill here so early on, but I think Trump is going to win. I’m sorry,” Moore, 62 said, as the audience gasped. “Boo if you want.”

Maher chimed in: “The enemy is complacency.”

According to Moore, Middle America might be the reason why Trump, well, trumps, presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.

“I live in Michigan. Let me tell you: It’s going to be the Brexit strategy,” he added. Last month, millions worldwide were stunned when 52 percent of 33 million voters from the United Kingdom voted to “Brexit” the European Union.

Earlier in the day, Moore again said that Trump has an “excellent chance” in taking a seat in the Oval Office. “He knows how to manipulate a dumbed-down population,” he said during a London press conference.

“The population of schools has been wrecked, and the news media is just insipid and stupid and doesn’t give the people the facts about what’s going on,” he continued, calling the public “easily manipulated.”

He added: “[Trump is] not as stupid as he looks. You should take it very seriously. He knows the manipulation that’s going on here, and the use of propaganda and the way he’s doing it is just brilliant in the way that he is succeeding and has succeeded.”

Moore might think Trump, 70, has it in the bag, but that doesn’t mean he’s voting for him. The award-winning filmmaker, who previously supported Senator Bernie Sanders, said in May that he’d stand in Clinton’s corner if she clinched the Democratic nomination.

“She’s better than the alternative and she will do some good,” he said at the time, via Politico. “It’s not exactly a resounding endorsement. You’re for her because you hate Trump. But many people will vote for Trump because they hate Hillary.”
