The Mariah Carey vs. Nicki Minaj war is heating up — and now Barbara Walters is in the middle!

The View host, 83, reported on the ABC talk show Thursday that she chatted on the phone with American Idol judge Carey, 42, about her feud with Minaj, 29.

TMZ obtained a video of the "Starships" rapper exploding at Carey during Idol auditions Tuesday in Charlotte, North Carolina. "I told them I'm not f–kin' putting up with her f–king highness over there," Minaj ranted, apparently disagreeing over a particular contestant. "Figure it the f–k out. Figure it out."

But Carey reportedly told Walters that the worst part of Minaj's rant against her wasn't even captured in the video. "She said that when Nicki walked off the set multiple people heard her say, 'If I had a gun I would shoot that bitch,'" Walters said on The View. "And she said that there were staff members that heard, hairdressers, producers and other people. She said she's very concerned. She is with her twins [Moroccan and Monroe, 18 months] and doesn't feel that anything would happen, but, 'Nicki is unpredictable.' And Mariah says she can't take a chance, and has hired extra security.'"

Minaj took to her Twitter account Thursday to slam Carey and Walters for making such claims.

"Ironically no camera or mic heard the gun comment though," she tweeted. "LOL at the struggle. Not even the producers believed you. Say no to violence barbz."

"Hey y'all. Let's just say Nicki said something about a gun. People will believe it because she's a black rapper. LMAO," she added. "I'll then hit up Barbara and milk it."

After the video leaked on Tuesday, Minaj had stayed silent about blowup at Carey. But now she's ready to fight back. "I don't call TMZ and Barbara Walters because I stand on my own two feet. Never needed an army. God is good. Insecurity is as cruel as the grave," she wrote. "I guess it hurts to have the producers tell you to your face that Nicki is the best judge we've had since Simon. Awww, poor you. Keep them lies coming."

"Tried to keep quiet but let's go!" Minaj added.
