The last time Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen took their girls on a winter vacation, things got a little out of control.

If their cheery tweets are any indication, times have definitely changed. One year after his infamous New York City hotel debacle, 46-year-old Sheen joined his ex-wife and their daughters Sam, 7, and Lola, 6, for a tropical getaway; Richards' newly adopted daughter Eloise, 6 months, was also on the trip.

Calling it "a Christmas to remember" on WhoSay, Sheen wrote that he loves "spending winter break with Denise and my kids."

The amicable exes spent Sunday evening "watching the beautiful sunset" together. The following night, Richards had "a fabulous dinner with the girls."

Though Richards, 40, has said she'll never get back together with her ex-husband, she knows Sheen will always be a part of her life.

"I'll never cut off contact with Charlie," she told Us Weekly in August. "He's my girls' dad. As they're older they'll deal with him how they can."

Good for you Denise!! You have put your daughters first!!! Now go get custody of Bob and Max since Brooke obviously can not take care of them in Rehab and Charlie .. well he is a lost cause as a father. I wonder what Cassandra (Charlie's 26 yr old daughter with Paula Profit) thinks of her father. Charlie is disgusting!!!

I have to say I have a lot more respect for Denise. Elsa I doubt Denise would ever go back to Charlie but I do think that she is a great mother who is keeping her relationship with him positive due to her children.
