Long before she was on Friends, Jennifer Aniston had a friend in Chaz Bono. Known then as Chastity (Bono underwent female-to-male gender transition in 2009), the two classmates posed for a locker room photo at New York's High School of Performing Arts in 1987.

"Every day a group of us would go to Chaz's house after school," Aniston, 42, recalled during an interview with Allure earlier this year. "I haven't spoken to him in awhile."

When asked if Bono's sex reassignment is confusing, Aniston responded: "Well, obviously, yeah. I mean, even for his -- her -- mother, I think. His mother. But, you know, good for her."

Bono, 42 -- whose parents are the legendary Sonny and Cher -- will make his Dancing With the Stars debut on September 19.

Ohmigod! Jen Aniston had a NOSE JOB???? Jesus H, people, she was the one who announced it. Is there an actor or actress alive who HASN'T had one? Or at the very least, SOMEthing done in order to make themselves more appealing? I think the number of UNtouched actors out there, you could probably count on one hand...and actually they would be actors and not actresses. Actresses are under much greater pressure to be perfect all the time.

Homosexuality, bisexuality, straight, whatever! Let people live and stop imposing your idealogy on others! Tolerance is love. Start living by the code you preach of and leave the rest of the world alone. I wish Chaz Bono and Jennifer Aniston happiness, and my guess is they're doing pretty well without everyone's acceptance.

Karen, it is naive to think the nose you see on the above pic is the exact same nose Jen has now. Only rhinoplasty changes the look of a nose, and if you study her nose as a teen and look at her nose now you will see a very different, much slimmer nose. I think it was very well done. Many people do too much to the nose and it doesn't look natural. You should be wondering if she did or didn't because then the doctor did a good job!

    Preach on, Karen!

wow. jen still looks exactly the same. it's like she hardly ages, some people are lucky like that i guess. lol, 80s hair is so funny. she still looks so great wth her dark brown hair and blue eyes. don't know why she ever decided to go blond, but i guess at this point she can't really go back to being a brunette cuz she'll get compared to angelina even though it's her natural hair color. her nose looks the same, some people need to get thier facts straight, jen's doctor came out and said she had a deviated septum when he was asked about it, he said that he didn't make any alterations to her nose, only straightened out her septum, and i believe it cuz for a story like that, he could've gotten a lot of money. on a different topic, one of my majors is psychology, and i just have to say that gender identity issues are real. there is such a stigma about psychological problems in this country, but if most people were to actually study it, or try to understand it, you would learn to be more tolerant. just because it's different from what we're all used to, doesn't make it wrong, it's sad because people are born this way, it's not like they're chosing it, and they're being made to feel bad about it.

If Jennifer Aniston is a plain Jane, I hope and pray that I live the rest of MY life as a plain Jane!!

Someone got a nose job. She was and will always be a plain Jane.

I think it is kinda funny that these celebrities (Jen, Angie, Catherine Z-Jones and just about all the rest) would all look average, or fairly pretty (not stunning) if it weren't for plastic surgery. The truly gorgeous women are the ones who have never been near a plastic surgeon's office for anything and still knock your socks off. About Chaz: I know it seems odd and wrong for us to see "her" become "him," but until you go through it yourself, how could you possibly understand? I empathize with Chaz.

Further, who are you to decide or determine what is normal??

  • September 16, 2011 - 11:06am Stacy Gray-Kwakye

Don't discriminate! You don't even know him!

i dont think in this day and age that its really abnormal or taboo anymore.

  • September 16, 2011 - 10:47am Elda Reyes

so young and pretty, love this picture!

The way JEnnifer answered that question is the exact way that it should be answered....he-she. It is confusing and abnormal and to say it's not is just wrong.
