Nothing Compares 2 a Prince selfie! The legendary rock/soul/funk performer, 56, took to Facebook on Tuesday, Nov. 11, to share his first official selfie.
Posing in a circular mirror and holding up a Canon camera, the Grammy winner captioned the photo, “KNOWTHYSELFIE…”
Back in August 2013, he took over the Twitter account for his new band 3RDEYEGIRL and tweeted a photo of smoke, writing, “1st selfie #selfie,” but this is the first time he’s shared an actual photo of himself as a selfie.
This new picture comes less than two weeks after his historic performance on Saturday Night Live, in which he played an eight-minute medley of his new songs from albums ART OFFICIAL AGE and PLECTRUMELECTRUM, setting a record for the longest continuous performance in SNL history.
