Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, right? Rita Ora channeled Lindsay Lohan in Mean Girls as she danced to “Jingle Bell Rock” in a video posted on YouTube on Saturday, December 12.
In the clip, part of Love magazine’s 2015 advent calendar, the “Body on Me” singer wears a Santa hat, along with a Spandex miniskirt and bra top trimmed with fake fur, as she recreates a memorable scene from the 2004 film, which also starred Rachel McAdams, Amanda Seyfried and Lacey Chabert.
And, just as it happened in the movie, what begins as a lip-sync and provocative dance ends with the boom box malfunctioning, and Ora, 25, follows in Lohan’s footsteps by singing the rest of the song.
Love magazine’s advent calendar series also features Gigi Hadid dancing, Kendall Jenner fooling around in a shark costume and Kris Jenner posing in a pool.
