Rachel McAdams

This Canadian native grew up figure skating but quickly discovered a love of acting. Although she also had a prominent role in Rob Schneider‘s otherwise forgettable The Hot Chick, it was as head “Mean Girl” Regina George in the Tina Fey-scripted Mean Girls that shot McAdams to stardom in 2004.
The young talent followed up her breakout role later that same year with the romantic critic’s darling The Notebook, which helped her become the envy of women everywhere and ignited her on-and-off again romance with costar Ryan Gosling. However, their seemingly storybook romance ended in 2007.
McAdams went on to receive additional accolades in 2005 for her roles in Red Eye, The Family Stone and as Owen Wilson‘s love interest in Wedding Crashers.
McAdams is currently dating actor Michael Sheen; the couple met on the set of Woody Allen‘s Midnight in Paris.
