Scarlett Johansson

Born November 22, 1984, Johansson is a New York native who aspired to live in the spotlight from a young age. She made her acting debut in 1994’s fantasy comedy North before gaining wider recognition for films like Manny & Lo (1996), The Horse Whisperer (1998) and Ghost World (2001).

Johansson’s biggest break came in 2003 with Lost and Translation, which earned her a BAFTA Award for Best Actress. The film also scored her a Golden Globe nomination, along with her roles in Girl With the Pearl Earring and A Long Song for Bobby Long in 2004.

The actress shot to worldwide notoriety after she portrayed Black Widow in the film Iron Man 2, going on to star in various Marvel projects as the character, including her own spinoff in 2021. Her blockbuster hits have grossed over $14 billion worldwide, making her the highest-grossing box office star of all time.

In 2019, Johansson was nominated for Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress at the Golden Globes for her roles in Marriage Story and JoJo Rabbit, respectively.

The model released her first album, Anywhere I Lay My Head, in May 2008.

In 2008, the Prestige star married actor Ryan Reynolds, but the pair split two years later. She then started dating Romain Dauriac in 2012 before getting engaged in September 2013. The twosome welcomed their daughter, Rose Dorothy, in September 2014 and tied the knot the following month. The duo split three years later. Johansson married comedian Colin Jost in October 2020 and the couple welcomed son Cosmo in August 2021.
