No detail went overlooked when actress Shannen Doherty wed photographer Kurt Iswarienko in Malibu on October 15.
In addition to Doherty’s three dress changes (including two Monique Lhuiller creations), the 40-year-old bride rocked $750,000 worth of diamonds from Alan Friedman, including her 5-carat wedding band and 18 carats’ worth of bangles.
“I felt like a fairy-tale princess,” Doherty tells the new issue of Us Weekly (out now).
Following the couple’s sunset ceremony, The Beverly Hills, 90210 star’s 162 guests dined on rib eye steak, branzino and beef and vegetable empanadas from caterer Nathaniel Neubauer. Later in the evening, guests noshed on truffle-infused deep-fried mac ‘n’ cheese squares.
Attendees toasted the newlyweds with a specialty cocktail created by celebrity mixologist James Moreland. The vodka, champagne, pomegranate and pear concoction was named Truly Yours.
Cupcakes Couture of Manhattan Beach, Calif. created Doherty and Iswarienko’s five-tier wedding cake, which was layered with cream cheese, raspberry jam and white-chocolate frosting.
According to Iswarienko, the entire event was “surreal.”
“It was this uncontrollable wave of emotion you don’t believe until it happens to you,” he tells Us.
