Va-va-Vergara! The newly engaged Sofia Vergara hit the red carpet at Los Angeles' Shrine Auditorium on Sunday, Jan. 25 for the 2015 Screen Actors Guild Awards with her fiancé Joe Manganiello by her side.
The Modern Family actress, 42, made her first red carpet appearance since Us Weekly confirmed last month that she is engaged to Magic Mike actor Manganiello.
Vergara looked gorgeous at the star-studded soirée in a red silk georgette gown by Donna Karan Atelier. The floor-length, one-shouldered number featured a train and an exposed corset, which showed off the star's famous curves.
The Emmy winner wore her blonde highlighted hair down and sleekly straight. She opted for a red lip to match her bright dress, and added long lashes to accentuate her eyes.
Her eye-catching jewelry for the evening was the massive multi-carat diamond engagement ring that she accepted late last year. Vergara showed off the stunning rock in E!'s mani cam ahead of the awards show, calling her adorned fingers her "love hand."
"[I'm] very happy," she gushed about her engagement on the red carpet. "Very happy, very excited. I cannot believe it."
Vergara was supported at the SAGs by her new fiancé. Manganiello walked the red carpet by his future wife's side, donning a sharp black tuxedo with a black bow tie for the awards show.
Manganiello, 38, proposed to Vergara over the holidays, sources told Us Weekly, with an insider adding, "He wanted to do it in front of her family." As Us exclusively revealed this past July, the two stars began dating over the summer, after Vergara called off her engagement from ex Nick Loeb.
The Colombian beauty was nominated at the 21st Annual SAG Awards along with her Modern Family costars. The longtime collaborators received a nod for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series, pitting them up against the casts of The Big Bang Theory, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Orange Is the New Black, and Veep. Vergara's costars Ty Burrell, Eric Stonestreet, and Julie Bowen also received individual nominations at the awards show.
