Suge Knight released from hospital after pre-VMAs bash shooting

Suge Knight is going to be alright. According to TMZ, the music mogul was released from Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai hospital on Wednesday, Aug. 27, just three days after surviving six gun shots.

In case you missed it, Knight was shot at a pre-VMAs bash hosted by Chris Brown at Hollywood hotspot 1Oak on Sunday, Aug. 24. TMZ reports Knight is healing amazingly well and won't need any rehab, only a few follow up visits.

The incident wasn't the first time the former CEO and co-founder of Death Row Records was involved in a shooting.

In 2005, Knight was shot in the leg at Kanye West's pre-VMAs party in Miami. Knight was also in the car with rapper Tupac Shakur when he was fatally shot in 1996.
