“Go to the Police!” That’s what fans were urging Tara Reid to do on Wednesday, September 14, when she posted a photo of herself looking battered and bruised to her Instagram account.
Reid had dark purple bruises across her forehead and face, making her look like she had been severely beaten up.
But luckily the star’s shocking appearance was only makeup for her new antibullying movie, Worthless.
The 40-year-old’s caption read: “Everyone be kind to each other. This is what bullying looks like. #Worthless.”
However, fans immediately reacted to her appearance, not realizing it wasn’t real.
“Omg are you ok???” wrote one. “Holy s‑‑t. Prayers your way,” commented another.
There was an onslaught of people begging her to tell them what had happened and urging her to report the attack.
Luckily, though, it wasn’t long before fans took note of the movie-name hashtag and breathed a sigh of relief.
The Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars standout flew to the film set on Sunday, September 11. She posted a picture on social media on the plane.
“On my way to shoot my next movie Worthless in Philadelphia here I come.”
