The Descendants' Jim Rash: I Wasn't Mocking Angelina Jolie at Oscars!

They weren't laughing AT Angelina -- they were laughing WITH her!
Angelina Jolie seemingly got dissed onstage at the Academy Awards Sunday when she presented the Best Adapted Screenplay trophy to The Descendants' Alexander Payne, Nat Faxon and Jim Rash -- the last of whom mimicked Jolie's super-sexy leg-flashing pose at the podium.

His cohorts Faxon and Payne quickly followed suit after Rash put his hand and Oscar on his hip and splayed out his leg. Backstage, the trio protested accusations that their joke was mean-spirited.
"She's supremely hot," Faxon said. "Jim did the leg first and he didn't tell us -- so I had to like quickly adapt."

"I just saw her pose and I thought, you know what, we have exactly the same legs," quipped Rash, who also stars as the Dean on NBC's Community. "And I wanted to show everyone what it meant. It was a loving tribute."
For her talked-about moment -- which even inspired a Twitter account! -- Jolie, 36, wore a black velvet Atelier Versace gown which, she told Us, mad e her feel "sexy."
Continued Rash: "It was more like, oh, she's standing, great, I'm going to stand like that, too."

Oh, yes you did sir, do it on purpose and I LOVED IT. It was the funniest, best moment of the night! Was she on something - did she really think she was hawt with the leg thing? I think it made her look soo... insecure! Welcome to motherhood.
He had every right to take back his moment. It wasn't about Jolie, she was just the presenter. Why did she present alone? WTG Rash.
It is nice when millionaire's share the wealth, so to speak, on behalf of starving children. In fact many, many do in a far less public way than Angelina. I think her heart would be in a better place if she didn't steal someone else's husband and then flaunt it on magazine covers and spreadsheets prior to the divorce. She could also help the starving children and be a more ethical person. Not a fan. She looked ridiculous with that pose. She did the same thing on the red carpet. Still, the mocking was mean spirited no matter the denials.
What's most important is the work she's done around the world for starving children. But who cares about that, right?
I'm not sure what Angelina was trying to prove by sticking out her skinny, bony leg like that. If she was trying to be funny, I think it back fired. She needs to get over herself.
I like Angelina but agree that the pose was kind of silly , jerking out the leg like that made me embarrassed for her !!
She not only did that on stage but for every photo op the whole evening. I remarked very early in the evening that she looked very obvious. She is also one of those who needs to go eat a good meal. I don't think she looked good at all.
He was funny! Relax, enjoy and have a sense of humor!
I agree with Hannah, Jolie looked ridiculous, almost everyone walked out with class, but her....and that pose was just plain stupid!!!!!
I agree, Hannah. Angie needs to be knocked down a peg or fifty. And Sharon, get over yourself! There are people in the world who can't stand Angelina and her wife-leaving, adulterous significant other ... and jealousy isn't ALWAYS a factor. Believe me, Sharon. I'm not jealous. Angie is NOT the kind of person I aspire to be. You see, I actually RESPECT marriage.
@Hannah bet you are jelous..I bet u don;t look that after 3 kids and rising 6 kids and doing charity all over the work..She is skinny but no anorexic at all..Losen up she trying to be funny..and she have a pair of nice legs..She look beautiful beside i really admire her she don;t give a crap what peoples like you and other alway have such negative thing to say about her and other...Toxic peoples are sad to be around..
I thought he was hilarious...Jolie is so full of herself. She looked ridiculous posing like that on stage. No class at all...she just wanted to show off the enormous slit on her dress. I, for one, thought she looked anorexic and the red lips looked clownish.
