Tom Brady looking like Tom Brady while arriving at court on Wednesday -- see the hilariously inaccurate courtroom sketch here
That, friends, is not Tom Brady. The handsome New England Patriots quarterback appeared in court on Wednesday, Aug. 12, regarding his Deflategate suspension, but it wasn’t any new developments in the case that made headlines, but the courtroom sketch of the 38-year-old football star. After the drawing of Brady was released, the Internet had a blast with the seriously inaccurate portrait. So much so, The New York Times reached out to the artist, Jane Rosenberg, who said, “I apologize to Tom Brady for not making him as good-looking as he is.”

It all started when WCVB sports director Scott Isaacs tweeted the image and wrote, “We've just gotten the first sketches from federal court – there's Goodell on the left, Brady to the right #wcvb.” The Internet naturally took it from there, comparing the sketch of Brady to everyone from the Crypt Keeper to Quasimodo.

Before we get to the amazing renditions, in case you care, U.S. District Judge Richard Berman questioned Daniel Nash, who is representing the National Football League, as to what evidence they have linking Brady to the alleged Deflategate scheme that lead to Brady’s four-game suspension. Nash noted there was “no smoking gun,” but there was evidence of texts between Brady and Patriots employees accused of letting air out of the footballs, meaning the NFL believes Brady was aware of the deflation. Unless a deal is made between the two parties, another court hearing is set for Aug. 19.
