Signs of trouble.
The cause of Whitney Houston's shocking Saturday death at age 48 has yet to be determined, but the "Saving All My Love for You" singer, who struggled with drug and alcohol abuse in her later life, made a bizarre appearance just two evenings before.

At a pre-Grammys party at Tru Hollywood Thursday evening, the beloved Grammy-winning singer seemed "wasted" and "moody" as she exited the club past midnight, according to a witness. "She reacted angrily to the security guards trying to get her into her car...and started cussing them out."
Although the superstar smiled when fans approached her for autographs, "she would get moody again in a split second," the observer says. "It was sad because her fans noticed that she was really shaky as she left the venue. She definitely was not in control of herself."
Yet, the next day, doing a sound check for a planned performance at mentor Clive Davis' annual Grammys party, Houston "was fine" doing a sound check, according to another source. "She was present and ready...She had water to keep her vocals clear, and was trying to not smoke."

Tell Us What You Think
30I was so happy to hear her voice again singing Gospel, O I LOVE THE LORD, HE HEARD MY CRY. thats a beautiful song, and all of her other song, I have been so sad and blue, But we can not question God, we just have to PRAY, for the family and her daughter, Whitney Houston you have left us in the flesh, But you music will always be in our Heart. R.I.P.
My heart goes out to the Houston and the Brown family. Whitney Houston is gone to soon. She graced us with her phenomenal voice and a smile you will never forget. I was just a child when I first heard Whitney, I stopped what I was doing and went to the radio to wait for the song to be over to find out who was "Blowing like that". Whitney not only had a beautiful voice when she sang, you felt something inside of you. I don't know about those that are reading this, but where I'm from when things are unexplainable it's the "Lord". She had an annointing on her that if you know God for yourself, you could feel it, no matter what she sung. Bobbi Kristina, you know you were your mother's number one fan, the only thing that came before her music. Don't let the media tarnish the memories of your mother, stay prayed up.I looked at Whitney like I knew her, all I could do was cry when I heard the news. In my eyes she was family, that's the annointing I was talking about. Mrs. Cissy Houston you are in my prayers. R.I.P. Whitney I willl never ever forget you............
As I sit here writing this tribute to Whitney Houston, I do so with tears in my eyes,Such a beautiful, beautiful person to loose. Yes she has gone to a better place, but oh how she will be missed, especially by her daughter Bobbi Christina and her family. Words alone cannot express what a true beauty we have lost. I do take solace in remembering the beautiful songs she made and they way she sung them especially,I Love The Lord, in preacher's wife. That song was sung with such conviction you know she believed in the lord 100 and 1%. Whitney you are now home with him and your work here is done. Love the Lord, and Rest In Peace.
What a great loss! Bobbi no one will ever fill your Moms Shoes!!!!! She'll forever be missed by all of us, She wasn't our's ,But we as Fans feel the ,Greatest" Lost ever, and as I was growing up,I always looked up to Whitney Houston as an IDOL! with Her Great Voice, and Her Outer ,and Inner Beauty, She Carried her Self as "Every Woman of her Great Caliber should do, with greatness, finess, And first and foremost Whitney touched all of our lives! I remember Breaking up with an Ex of mine, and "reconciled with One of Your Moms Greatest Hits! "Saving all my love for you" I dedicated that one song to my Ex,and from there on our relationship is Stronger than ever! Thanks Whitney!! You'll forever be mised, And thanks to all of Her Family without them there wouldn't of been The Greatest Woman Whitney Houston! :'(
Sad to see Whitney exit like this.Whitney was a very beautiful and talented woman. I was praying she would recover, conquer and overcome her drug addition and turn her life around. I don't know why people think they can try drugs and not get hooked. Its best to stay away from that road at all cost. The bible tells us to flee from all appearance of evil. This should be a lesson to us all. I pray she made peace with God in her final moment and may the God of all comfort be with her family and love ones. We love you Whitney and always will!
My heart and prayers go out to Whitneyâ??s family. Those who loved her couldnâ??t save her from herself. But God loved her much more and brought her home to rest in peace. I know what it feels like to lose a beloved mother. The hole in your heart never heals, but life must go on. I pray that Bobbi Christina will find the strength to live her life in a more positive way and make her mother proud. Bobbi, Whitney will be watching you from heaven. The world will miss her beautiful voice. RIP, Whitney.
Yes, Jesus love you Ms.Whitney. He heard your cry and pity every morn. My thoughts and prayers goes out to you Bobbie Christina, Sissy and the Houston family. I pray God will keep you in perfect peace. Whitney touch so many lives in many different ways. Let us not judge anyone. For ye shall me judge by the same measure. Take what ever time you have and lift that family up in prayer. God Bless!

I think a great singer has passed from us -no one can fill her shoes. Whitney~ so sad and so young & I am saddened by this tragedy. She will be missed but always remembered as a golden girl with a great gift from God. She is now singing for her King.
I do feel sorry for her daughter over the loss of her mother, how many people have to die from drug abuse before they wake up and finally so no to the selfdestruction of drug and alcohol abuse including hollywood celebirties
Drugs ruined her good singing talent and so did the bad influences in her life such as drugged out ex-husband Bobby Brown, but I still enjoyed her music before the drugs and I still always will
