Um, thanks? Zac Efron may have diehard fans, but one in particular certainly went a little overboard in the gift department. Case in point: that awkward moment the heartthrob received a piece of a fan's skin.

The gross reveal was told by Efron's That Awkward Moment costar Miles Teller during a joint Conan appearance on Tuesday, Feb. 4. "How strange does it get? You hear stories that women try to mail themselves to you," host Conan O'Brien asked. "That sounds sexy and nice," Teller, 26, quipped. "[But] the story he told me was not in that tone."

"I was like, 'Zac, what's the craziest thing a fan has sent you?'" Teller recalled. "He was like, 'Oh, I had a fan send me a piece of their skin.'"

O'Brien (clearly not knowing how to react) calmly replied: "What?"

"Dude, imagine when I got it!" Efron, 26, jumped in. "It's hilarious because you don't know how to handle it. You'll never get around it. I love all my fans."

O'Brien joked: "You took it to the lab to grow a woman! It's such a strange thing."

Efron didn't specify how old the fan was, but Teller's next story proved just how loyal his fans can be. "Even as grown women -- we were doing this thing at Facebook and one of these women stood up and said, 'Hey Zac, I'm 27,'" Teller said. "I just had a birthday party and all my plates were from High School Musical. My napkins were High School Musical and my husband said it would be okay if I hugged you. Can I hug you?'"

The older fan got her wish, and Efron sweetly met the woman's husband after the event.
