Wickedly wild! Angelina Jolie exceeded expectations once again as she stepped out to attend a photo call for Maleficent in London, England, on Friday, May 9. The Oscar winner didn't have fiance Brad Pitt and eldest son Maddox on hand this time, but was joined by her costar Elle Fanning on the red carpet.

Jolie, 38, wore a tight-fitting white dress by Atelier Versace for the event, which had detailed images of birds and branches on the front. She kept her brunette locks down and brightened up the look with a bold lip. The look was stunning all around, but it was Jolie's white heels that stole the spotlight. The custom Christian Louboutin footwear included Maleficent-inspired horns that pointed toward her heels.

One day earlier, the actress attended a private exhibition for the Disney film at Kensington Palace with Pitt, 50, and Maddox, 12, by her side. The couple matched in black as Jolie wore a sequined Atelier Versace gown with a plunging neckline.

Jolie recently confessed that she once believed she would never have a family of her own. "I never thought I'd have children. I never thought I'd be in love," she said in the June issue of Elle magazine. "I never thought I'd meet the right person. Having come from a broken home—you kind of accept that certain things feel like a fairy tale, and you just don't look for them."

"You get together and you're two individuals and you feel inspired by each other, you challenge each other, you complement each other, drive each other beautifully crazy," she added of Pitt. "After all these years, we have history—and when you have history with somebody, you're friends in such a very real, deep way that there's such a comfort, and an ease, and a deep love that comes from having been through quite a lot together."
