Gigi Hadid stopped traffic with her colorful sneakers in New York City on Monday, March 28. The Maybelline ambassador, 20, rocked a pair of red high-rise shoes from Rihanna’s Puma collaboration. The Trainer ($180, us.puma.com) are slip-on booties with “an extra-high tongue for striking style,” according to the website’s description.

Hadid, who was in town for a Maybelline photo shoot, styled her bright shoes with an all-black ensemble of a V-neck T-shirt, Alo Yoga Moto leggings and a duster coat. The daughter of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Yolanda Foster and Mohamed Hadid may have taken a style cue from the shoe’s designer; Rihanna (who tapped Hadid to close her Fenty by Rihanna show!) also wore hers with black last year.
She Snapchatted her shoe game that same day, writing “Big love to riri.”

Hadid has kept her choice of footwear pretty casual (and still stylish, of course!) during her time in the Big Apple. While boyfriend Zayn Malik promoted his new album, Mind of Mine, on March 28, Hadid picked a pair of leather slip-ons by Everlane ($135, everlane.com).
“I guess I am your typical just-graduated-high-school-in-Malibu type of girl,” Hadid has said to Into the Gloss about her aesthetic. “Our school was just across from Zuma beach, and we all wore Lululemons and bathing suit tops to go to the grocery store … Everything there is pretty laid back.”
