Get it, girl! Gigi Hadid has been taking New York Fashion Week by storm closing shows like Tommy Hilfiger, and gallivanting around with her fashionable partner-in-crime, Kendall Jenner. But on the last day of NYFW, Hadid really let it all hang out and caused a stir in a sheer dress at Anna Sui’s Spring 2016 show.
The see-through, embroidered dress by the couture designer left little to the imagination as it hinted at Hadid’s nipples and showed off her trim torso. Sui styled the revealing look with white shorts, floral tube socks, and blue patterned heeled sandals.
Hadid, 20, walked the tropical-themed show in three separate pieces: a sheer black halter dress with a fringe skirt and shorts, the risqué floral number, and she closed the runway in an ankle-length red floral dress. Throughout the show, Hadid and her fellow models wore tropical flowers in their hair, which was down in beachy waves, and smoldered in smoky eyes and vampy, dark berry lips.
Despite her success in the industry, and specifically at this season’s NYFW, Hadid is grateful for each experience she has. “I’ve done things in the past year that I never thought I’d do in five years… Once, [my mom, Yolanda Foster], read me a list of goals I had made a while ago, and I had done everything on the list,” she told Harper’s Bazaar in June. “It’s still surreal. I’m just trying to take it all in… It’s amazing. I’m having so much fun. I love my job and I’ve made so many amazing friends and connections through it.”
