The rapper, 37, flashed photographers a "peace" sign as he proudly sported the gold "Nori" necklace around his neck. West, also carrying a giant man purse, squinted and gave a semi-smile, revealing a grill on the bottom row of his teeth.
West's latest public display of fatherly pride came several days after he and his wife, Kim Kardashian (who has an identical necklace), celebrated their little girl's first birthday with an extravagant "Kidchella" themed party.
The bash—modeled after the annual Coachella music festival where West is a frequent performer, included tents, food stands, and even a ferris wheel—was held in Kourtney Kardashian's Calabasas, Calif., backyard on Saturday, June 21, and attended by all of 12-month-old Nori's aunts.
West has gushed about his adoration for his baby girl, even holding his extravagant May 24 nuptials in the very city where she was conceived. West, in an interview with a local Florentine paper, said: "I adore Florence. I love Italy and the Italian lifestyle. To tell you the truth, I already came to the banks of the Arno [river] with Kim last year, just the two of us, incognito." He added, "I think that our daughter North was conceived here among the Renaissance masterpieces."
