Kate Gosselin showed off her new hair extensions as she ran errands over the weekend in her Wernersville, Pa., hometown.

She debuted the look -- the work of celebrity hairstylist Ted Gibson (known for tending to the tresses of Angelina Jolie and Anne Hathaway) -- last week.
The entire makeover took 20 hours; Gibson joked to RadarOnline.com that they spent 15 hours to convince her to cut her bangs. Gibson said Gosselin's cut would cost close to $7,000 at his salons in New York and Washington.

Kate's ex Jon -- who has a new 25-year-old girlfriend -- has yet to comment on his ex's new locks, but Jon's ex, Hailey Glassman, digs the 'do.

"I like it! It's a little shocking due to how short it was before," she tells Entertainment Tonight. "I think a new look is a new start and happier times. She's like fine wine. Better over time."

The trouble was not Kate's hair -- she is an idiot and a troublemaker. I very much look forward to at least one of her kids one day throwing her under the bus for allowing their show to continue while their parents' marriage crumbled.
I have only seen the show a few times before her new hair do and I didn't even recognize her with long hair. She just looks like a regular middle aged mom trying to relive what once was. I don't think her show will hold my interest. I feel sorry for the kids for having to live under the scrutiny of the rest of the world so mom can have her moment in lime light.

This long hair makes Kate look what she really is - can you guess what? Instead of spending 20 hours getting a new "do", she should have been at home nuturing her 8 children. Mady needs help so much it's pathetic.

Regardless of what anyone says or thinks of the Gosslins is not important, what is important here is the kids, this will haunt them forever, and they didn't do a thing to deserve it.

OMG! These are the same people that feel the need to broadcast that they are in debt. HUH, $7,000! Are we still in a recession? They don't seem to need any money for themselves (selfishly) or for the kids. They seem to be doing fine even now without the show to support their lavish habits.

I like it Kate. We all live in glass houses why is everyone throwing stones? Jealous she was picked for a reality show? If you are so concern about kids being on tv, don't just target her kids go after all parents that aloud children to act and all the other reality shows!!! If being on a reality tv show pays her bills and puts money in the bank for her children dont knock it. If you can't stand it don't watch it. You can watch 19 and counting. OH they have how many kids in that show?

I think Kate looked better before, the long hair does nothing for her....it took away her looks makes her look older...sorry kate should have stayed short.
I like Kate! I think she deserves any success she can attain while she is raising her family. It depends on what it is, but I would watch her. Why don't they do a "Kate plus Eight?" Jon can't pay his bills so why is he keeping the show off the air? Dumb!
