Sizzling! Kate Winslet stopped red carpet traffic at the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival at the premiere of her latest flick, The Dressmaker, on Monday, Sept. 14.
The Oscar-winning actress, 39, cut a stunning figure in her flattering, skintight Badgley Mischka gown with gunmetal beaded detailing (which you can actually rent on Rent the Runway for $180). Her only accessories were a pair of Forevermark diamond earrings and a set of Forevermark rings. The star’s locks were up in an undone low chignon with romantic whisps of hair framing her face, and she painted her nails in a polish that matched her slate gray dress.
Not only did the mom of three look great, but she also was in a great mood, blowing kisses to the crowd, flashing big smiles, and hamming it up for the cameras, matching the mood of the movie she’s promoting — a comedy-drama based in Australia.
The Brit told audience members at the premiere that one major reason she chose the film was because of its lighter mood. “It’s a predominantly female cast, which is great fun, and it was filmed in Australia. Australian actors are wonderful, incredible artists, and it’s a comedy which is different for me. And Liam Hemsworth is in it,” she said, “Liam’s a pro. I’ll tell you that much… He’s lovely and charming and we were lucky to have him.”
