Is there something in the water? Many stars, including Kendall Jenner, Joanna Krupa, and Ireland Baldwin, stepped out wearing next to nothing on Wednesday, Sept. 30.
In Hollywood, attendees at PETA's 35th anniversary party channeled the organization's famed "I'd Rather Go Naked" campaign with nearly-naked ensembles.
Real Housewives of Miami star Krupa, 36, who is no stranger to stripping down (this summer she took it all off, painting her body like a killer whale to bring attention to the creature's plight), walked the red carpet for PETA's bash in a see-through gown that barely covered her nipples. The dress, which was embellished with jewel designs, highlighted her cleavage and flat stomach, and also displayed her toned legs with a thigh-high slit. The blonde reality star accessorized with a nude and silver clutch and sparkly, nude pumps for the occasion.
Alec Baldwin's daughter Ireland, 19, took the barely there trend in a gothic direction, opting for a black lace minidress with a long, fringe skirt and fringe sleeves by Marchesa. She paired the dramatic ensemble with a matching Edie Parker clutch and minimalist sandals. She also made a statement with her makeup, choosing a vampy black cat-eye for the occasion.
Across the globe for Paris Fashion Week, Jenner, 19, followed (birthday) suit in a sheer black Balmain pantsuit that exposed her breasts — areola front and center — and bared her booty in a black thong as she walked to The Reserve restaurant with family friend, and creative director of Balmain, Olivier Rousteing, and BFF Gigi Hadid. Later in the night, Jenner posted a belfie on Instagram, highlighting her derriere and captioning the snap, "BALMAIN BOOTY."
In the most demure take on the night's trend, Rose McGowan flashed major cleave in a completely sheer, black mesh shirt, which she layered with a white and black satin blazer and paired with black satin trousers. McGowan, 42, wore her cropped tresses slicked down in a sleek side part, and kept her makeup minimal, choosing a peachy lip to complete her look at the New York City Ballet Fall Gala.
