Risking it all for fashion!
As far as we’re concerned, Keri Russell just earned all the cool points in the world for braving the aftermath of snowstorm Juno by wearing high heels on Wednesday, Jan. 28. The Americans actress, 38, was spotted risking it all — frostbite, broken toes, or worse — as she exited her Brooklyn abode for an appearance on NBC’s Today show to promote the third season for the FX series.
Russell’s hazardous ensemble consisted of a crisp white blouse, a printed Victoria Beckham pencil skirt, a draped wool coat, and the red Azzedine Alaia stilettos that put her in the face of danger. Here’s what the star could have been thinking during the icy trek.
Hmm, too late to run back in to grab my Sorels?
Easy does it. Almost there.
Ha! Back on solid ground.
After arriving to the NBC studio, Russell talked about bonding with her family during the storm. “It was so good and cozy,” she told Savannah Guthrie. “We had snow and we went out walking in it, we made chicken soup, we made fires and played games…It was fun.”
