As noted by red carpet host Giuliana Rancic, the 30-year-old Kenyan-born beauty was recently named among Vogue's 10 Rising Style Stars of 2014. "She stole every red-carpet heart this fall with her clean silhouettes, close-cropped coif, and ear-to-ear smile," the fashion bible wrote of Nyong'o. "The 12 Years a Slave star brought the same radiance and poise to her wardrobe as her Golden Globe-nominated performance."

Asked whether she felt pressure to live up to Vogue's honor, the Best Supporting Actress nominee told Rancic, "Not really. So far I've only worn things that I feel speak to me."
