How cheeky, Miley!

Newly-engaged Miley Cyrus flaunted much more than her stunning Neil Lane engagement ring from Liam Hemsworth during a Wednesday shopping trip in Los Angeles. Browsing the racks at an American Apparel store, the former Disney darling bared her butt cheeks in way-too-short white cutoff denim shorts.

Covering up in a red and black long-sleeve blouse worn over a white crop top, Cyrus accessorized her barely-there look with black boots.

Accepting Hunger Games star Hemsworth's proposal in May, the 19-year-old singer-actress is adjusting well to her status as a bride-to-be.

"I love being a 'fiancee,'" the future Mrs. Hemsworth tweeted Wednesday, dropping hints about her upcoming wedding. "@BigBlack is hookin me upppp. singin @ my wedding for a reasonable $$$ AND putting a fantasy factory in my backyard!" she tweeted of performer pal Christopher Boykin. "Dreams DO come true ;)"

Cyrus met her Australian fiance, 22, on the set of 2009's The Last Song and have been together -- save for a brief 2010 split -- ever since. This will be the first marriage for both stars.

PHOTOS: Miley's wildest moments ever

"She's very mature! She's 19 going on 40, so she is ready for [marriage]," an insider tells Us Weekly. "Liam likes her wild side, but Miley's also mature and supportive. They're both ready for this."
