Oops, she did it again -- Britney Spears had another cataclysmic hair day.
The pop star, who famously shaved her head during a 2008 breakdown, visited a Crate and Barrel store in Sherman Oaks, Calif. on Tuesday.

Casually clad in an orange tank top, shorts and chunky brown boots, the "Piece of Me" singer revealed huge pieces of hair missing from the right, back side of her head -- presumably the result of botched (or simply half-done) hair extensions.

Spears, 28, is reportedly back to work on a new album to follow up her comeback smash Circus. The divorced mother of two has been dating her former agent Jason Trawick since spring 2009.

LOL @ people saying she's crazy because she had a bad hair day. Britney has had crappy hair since before she shaved her head, due to all the extensions and coloring. Nothing has changed besides now she doesnt have enough hair to hide how terrible it is/was.

It looks like this because after she shaved her head, as soon as it was more than half an inch long she had extensions sewn in and bleached, colored, bleached, colored, ad nauseum. She needs to take the extensions out, try a mia farrow crop or jane fonda shag style to grow it out. If she needs longer hair she can always pop on one of her wigs.

i can't believe no one told her about this before leaving the house....what about all her "people", her entourage and body guards....couldn't someone have told her? granted, this girl is a mess, but the people around her should take more responsibility in looking out for her. i'm certain they're being paid enough!
i really don't believe she would go out looking like that. c'mon that looks so nasty. she has way to much money and if anything I'm pretty sure her beau would say something to her about it! I know my man would NOT let me out the house looking a hot mess!! Poor Brit.

Does this mean her real hair is really super short? What is with these Hollywood girls? Do any of them have REAL long hair? I have real hair down my back and I can't imagin getting nasty fake hair woven in. They are all just so FAKE! So little natural beauty anymore. That's why I am so fond of the starlets of yesteryear where boobs were real and their beautiful faces were untouched by greedy plastic surgeons.
Depression can cause one to have a hard time keeping themselves and their surroundings neat and clean. She really needs someone to step in. I don't understand why she makes it so hard for herself. Even a full wig would be better than these horrible brassy blond extensions. All she has to do is cut it shoulder length, color it a color close to her natural color because clearly it's too much effort for her to keep her roots touched up- I don't mean that in a rude or sarcastic way, it just seems to be a fact- and she would look beautiful and not be so stressed out about her hair.

Girl! Come by my house Ill fix you up real quick. I would take out those nasty extensions and do a nice natural looking sew in that would match your texture and color. Nothing to over the top in fact shoulder lenght or a grown out bob. Than ill giver her a light spray tan app, put her in a pretty white bohemian dress with some light jewlry, a brown boho chic bag and some wedge heels and she will be summer ready. Im suprised she doesnt have a stylist or an assistant to help her out.
