Rooney Mara, who's become known for her love of somber, minimalist looks arrived at the 84th Annual Academy Awards in L.A. on Sunday in a white Givenchy gown with a plunging neckline and structured detail.

"I only just picked it this morning," The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo Best Actress nominee, 26, told E! News' Ryan Seacrest on the red carpet of the design, adding that she chose from "several" options.
