Hathaway has a way with bling!
Anne Hathaway scored a major bonus when she wore glitzy jewelry from Tiffany & Co. while hosting the Oscars on Sunday night.

An insider tells UsMagazine.com that the actress, 28, was paid a whopping $750,000 to wear the baubles at Hollywood's biggest event.
The Love and Other Drugs star wasn't the only A-lister making bank on Oscar night, either.

Another source tells Us that Gwyneth Paltrow -- who performed "Coming Home" during the show -- netted a sweet $500,000 to wear earrings, a brooch and ring from Louis Vuitton's "L'Ame du Voyage" collection.
It's not the first time Paltrow has been linked to lucrative, hush-hush endorsements. In late 2009, sources told Us Weekly that the actress was compensated to help promote the lavish Hotel La Mamounia in Marrakech, Morroco.

18Seriously like any one of you would donate all that money if it were your paychecks to charity or "needy" people. Stop judging...it is a sin to be greedy but it is also a sin to judge others. Maybe they do donate a lot of money but it isn't wrong to spend the money you earn. So what if they don't...be happy with what you have in your life people. Money doesn't always buy happiness.
This makes me sick to my stomach. How can these ladies sleep at night? Neither of them need a single dollar of that money. Both of them need to donate every last red cent of that ridiculous payday to charity. WTH is wrong with our society that this type of thing is OK? Anne and Gwyneth need to do the right thing- if some idiot is willing to pay them that much to wear some jewelery for a few hours, use their celebrity status, take that money and put it where it matters. DO THE RIGHT THING LADIES I DARE YOU.
It is disgusting the waste of money on material things - why not use that money for the good of society - I hate celebrities that are greedy - do something good for once - over consumerism is dispicable and so are the celebrities!
FYI, nothing these celebs get is totally free. Gift tax....yeah, I wouldn't want to pay that. But then, these guys should be making enough to cover it.

Whoopi, Billy Crystal, Steve Martin, David Letterman, even Jon Stewart, what a joke, what was Hollywood trying to pull by selling us Anne and James before releasing their films this year. What studios have advantage now? This was self-promotion, publicity, but little to do with the Hollywood that started the Oscar ceremonies at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood. Yes, some of us study the History of Film. Gable, Cagney, Garson, Taylor, I am not sure Anne and James earned this opportunity, and that fact that we have to ask about our comedians in question says volumes about the decision to cast the two at the Oscars. I hope you are not serious. And if you are, would these ladies be kind enough to donate that money to charity.
Why do they need to get paid to wear jewelry??? Are you kidding me? I sure hope they give that money to a charity!
It's pathetic that even get paid so much to receive awards or acknowledge their peers. The only thing they don't get paid for is sex. That they all do for free.
Wow! And good for Anne Hathaway for getting that job! Really people! Crabbing about jewelry! OMG... Well then if you don't like it quit watching tv, quit going to the movies or buying them. Just quit! This way you aren't supporting the problem. Right? Because Celebrities are the problem in this world! Ha! Seriously just sit on your couch and do nothing. Your problem is solved.
OMG people are really crabbing about celebrities getting stuff for free. Wow... They are celebrities! Duh! And yes their job is hard! People always knowing what is going on in their lives no privacy what so ever. They chose their path just like you did. Seriously. If you don't like what celebrities get don't support tv, don't support movies, don't support anything that has to do with celebrities. Really don't because then you aren't contributing to the problem. Just sit on your couch and do nothing and the problem shall be solved.
Why is it those who already have money like this to begin with get to obtain more. This should've went to those who needed the money and can really benefit from it. This is ridiculous. :-(
This ruined my night.
Give me a friggin break. I know lots of families....military families, too, who can't make the rent, buy food, medicine, clothing, can't get a damn job, but hey, you have to pay someone to wear the jewelry so why not the rich and famous??? Makes sense to me!!!!
I love how celebrities are given free stuff at events like these and are also paid to wear jewelry..must be nice...can someone explain to me why rich people need to be given anything for free? They consume most of the money that this damn country has so why are we giving them more? Their jobs can't really be that hard...
No matter how much Gwyneth and Anne were paid, they were paid too much. How unfair is that for the ultra-rich to get more money while me and billions of others barely make enough to scrape by each month and to provide food for our families.
Haha@Amanda US Weekly check their sources? REALLY? They posted 2 wrong articles last week one of which Gossip Cop quickly debunked.
So if everyone is telling you the amounts are incorrect, don't you think you might want to check your sources?
