Angelina Jolie was instantly a winner at the Golden Globes in Los Angeles on Sunday. The actress and In the Land of Blood and Honey director, 36, made a jaw-dropping entrance on the red carpet.

With love (and Best Actor nominee) Brad Pitt at her side, Jolie sizzled in a champagne satin one-shoulder Atelier Versace gown with a hint of red at the neckline. (The shoulder-baring piece showcased the mother of six's many tattoos.)

With her hair in a glam updo, Jolie prettified her famous lips with a deep red lipstick. The star, whose In the Land of Blood and Honey is a nominee in the Foreign Language Film category, completed the look with Lorraine Schwartz earrings and ring.

Jolie and Pitt, 48, told E! News' Ryan Seacrest about both being up for awards. "It's nice when everything comes together!" Pitt, clad in a Salvatore Ferragamo three-piece tuxedo, said. "it's a golden night for us!"
Jolie added that critical praise for her directorial debut, which almost didn't get made, "is everything to me."
