Heroes star Ali Larter wed actor Hayes MacArthur in an intimate ceremony Saturday at his parents' estate in Kennebunkport, Maine, Usmagazine.com has confirmed.

Guests arrived at the wedding on trolleys. The ceremony took place outdoors on the lawn. They played Irish music before the ceremony started in honor of the groom's heritage. Larter, who wore Vera Wang, walked down the aisle with her dad. MacArthur wore a Ralph Lauren Black Label tuxedo for the ceremony. Actress Amy Smart was among the guests. This is the first marriage for both.

The two announced they were engaged in December 2007 after five years of dating. "Since I was 15 years old, all I wanted was to find the guy I was going to marry. My heart got broken so many times because I put so much pressure on it. And then .. I got blindsided," she told February's Cosmopolitan of MacArthur. She said he "showed me the way, and all was right. This is how it's supposed to be."

Asked about her future, she told the magazine in 2007, "I look forward to that time when I'm home with babies."
