  Thhis porn star just wants to stir up some controversy and get some publicity! How much more unfit does she need to be for people to realize that she is not a good mother figure for any child, any age? She says "I'm the best mother I can be"? Real mothers - biological or not - make sacrifices and good wholesome decisions for their child. I don't think this woman would know how to show good moral values to this child, considering her profession and lack of morals that go with that type of behavior. Good luck to Jesse, Sandra and little Sunny - do what it takes to keep this child safe!

  Jesse left Janine while pregnant and gave Sunny to her because he didn't want anything to do with the child. He used the excuse that he didn't think the child was his. He had no contact with the child through her first couple of years.

  Sandra is not taking away anyone's child. Jesse is suing for custody (not Sandra) as he is the biological father. Sandra Bullock is supporting her husband by willingly accepting the responsibility that will come with having Sunny in their home full-time. If she wasn't stepping up to the plate, the public would accuse her of not wanting sunny and dub her a wicked stepmother. She's in a no-win position, and she's handling it with grace and dignity. Sandra is proving, once again, that she's a class act. The mother's track record speaks for itself.

  Her mother should be allowed supervised access, you dont just hand a child other to a mother who just left jail, especial a child who has been able to experience a stable environment with a mother and father figure. I thought it was interesting how all you women have started bashing Sandra who really is only doing what any other decent women would do when caring for their husbands child from another relationship.Her husband is and I sure would have control to decide, whats right for his daughter.

  Thisiswrong - so it's better for the child to be with a drug addicted pornstar and her new husband who is a felon than with her father and step mother who can take care of her? Is it abuse that the mother admitted to using drugs till she passed out and taught the daughter to go to a neighbors when mommy didn't wake up? Probably. Who on earth teaches their 3, 4 or 5 year old to go to a neighbors house when their mother is passed out then tries to get custody of that child? She needs serious help and should only have supervised visitation until she straightens out.

  Do what's best for the children. Give her a chance to have a stable home with her father and Sandra. Of course the mother should have some visitation rights. But it's clearly a better environment with Jesse and Sandra who has a stable marriage and relationship. This would be best for the child well-being.

  The simple fact that everyone is missing is that THE FATHER has custody of the child along with Sandra. He is the child's biological parent as well and obviously is the much more stable parent. Sandra did not take this woman's child away, THE COURT did! She just shows up after springing the joint and expects her ex to just hand over his kid to her? What a joke! And how is he supposed to know she's off drugs? Because she claims it to be so? Sandra was FORCED to take over mothering duties because this druggie went to jail! And then this woman claims it's Sandra taking her kid away! She's only going after Sandra because she's famous and she can sell her story to the tabloids. If you read the story it states the at Janine's SENTENCING before she was carted off to jail Sandra made those claims, not at a custody hearing!

  The mom is a drug addict who now has a criminal record. Just because you give birth does not make you a good parent. The childs needs come first. Not fair for her to have to wait for "mom" to get her life together. The child only has one chance at a good childhood. The child can be raised by dad and have a great life. The "mom" would rather do drugs/adult movies than raise a child. She 's had her chance-get the child out of her care. She can earn back visiting rights. More kids should be taken away from sorry excuse parents-kids should have own lawyers and have a right to be raised somewhere else. If Jesse were a single dad, he should still get her over drug mom.

  I can really care less what this woman did. People have gone to jail for far worse and be forgiven. Sandra should be ashamed of herself. I know she feels that because she married the childs father that she has the right to take over as her mother but that is so far from the truth. Truth is if she keeps that girl from her mother in the long run that kid will grow up to hate her. In the eyes of that little girl being 5yrs old her mother can do no wrong. And trying to keep them apart is going to do some serious emotional damage in her future.

  It's odd that so many people are looking out for the mother here - why is it always assumed that the mother is a better parent? Sorry - but some mothers do suck - and its the fathers who step up to the plate. Good for Sandra for treating this little girl as her own! She is a warm and wonderful influence and this little girl can look up to her as a role model. Can't say that about mom.

  I can't believe some people are actually standing up for Janine. If she was such a good mother she would never have done anything to get herself thrown in prison. Jesse still has a good relationship with his first ex-wife & he has always been in his children's lives. I remember watching a special about Jesse James when he was with Janine & she said that she went after him with a knife because he made her mad. Doesn't sound like someone a child needs to be around to me. This child is now getting the love & attention it needs from Jesse & Sandra.

  The mother has very little chance of getting custody of her daughter because she is fighting a millionaire movie star who is also using her PR team to help her husband get custody. Presumably James knew what his wife did when he married her and knowing that, she became pregnant with their daughter. He left her during the pregnancy for Bullock whom he married when she was still pregnant! Nice man. Sandra is his third wife and he isn't going to leave her because of the money involved. He isn't a nice person and I hope that the judge will decide this ON FACTS and not just because the father is married to a famous person.
